Padma made a face but laughed with her sister for a moment, shaking her head. "I wish they'd join the rest of the world in this century," She muttered, shaking her head. It may have been too much to ask for but, hey, who said Padma wasn't a dreamer?
"I know..." Most things she could talk about with Parvati. Just not her ambitions. The twins were very similar but, at the same time, had very different ideas about some things. Perhaps Padma just had a lot of repressed rebellious spirit that she hadn't used when she was in school acting against her or perhaps this is how she was supposed to be. Regardless, she felt having a job was important and she wasn't about to give up the chance to stay in a career within Healing. "Someday I'll have someone and kids. But now? Now I'm going to stay on course."
Oh lord, Padma did recall the disaster date for the Yule Ball. Well, perhaps not a complete disaster since she had met a very cute and friendly french boy. Regardless, there was something about the Gryffindors that didn't always set right with Padma or work well with her. "Perhaps not," She chortled as she took another sip of her wine. "I'll leave finding men for myself if I'm going to be doomed to dating headstrong and stubborn men the rest of my days."
