Spencer calmed a little and his girlfriend’s gentle touch. Sometimes, at his most irrational it was only Dina’s ability to maintain calm that managed to get through to him. “Yes, a cheese plate might be okay. But no grapes. He doesn’t deserve any grapes yet.” Spencer grumbled, sliding the steaks over to plates.
“If you thought you were getting sick then why did you go out drinking last night?” Serena chided, an amused sigh on her lips at her boyfriend’s puppy dog routine. Unlike with Dina, it really worked on her.
All of sudden, Serena was greatly confused by the stricken looks on the other two’s faces and she was being hauled off somewhere. “But I thought we couldn’t? No Oranges remember?”
The line between Spencer’s brows calmed a little, “Well the thing is, Roger. You gotta remember that the taste comes from the fat when it melts, so one can never underestimate marbling-“
Inside the house now, Serena looked puzzled at Dina. “Um, what is going on?”
