It was strange. Despite Adrian's loud reaction, Rodolphus' expression didn't even flicker. His wrist snapped forward and in a flash of light the glass and beer were cleared up. "You know, at one time, I'd have made a rookie walk around on the broken glass for training purposes. Aren't you lucky I'm in a good mood?"
Rodolphus looked vaguely amused, "Ah, no need to blush. I promise I shan't tell your mother."
And then his tone changed and he ordered sharply, "Get changed." Discussing dark plans in a fluffy towel never was the best way to go about it.
