"Yes, please," Tracey said promptly. She wouldn't have minded a shot of whiskey in her tea, but she knew that Daphne would find that very inappropriate. In many ways, Daphne was much more like Charlotte than Tracey. Daphne was proper and always did the right thing socially. She'd bag a pureblood with a fine reputation soon - something that Tracey was probably ineligible for now that she'd bounced around so many men. Still, Tracey didn't like Daphne as much as she disliked Charlotte. Probably because Daphne didn't make her feel like a stupid, inadequate little girl who couldn't take care of herself.
"She's powermad, that's what she is," she grumbled. "She thinks if she makes enough connections no one's going to remember she's Julian sister."
