Aidan awoke with a bright smile, though he couldn't quite recall why he was so happy. He buried his face in the pillow with a lazy groan and smelled her on it. Aidan smiled more widely as his eyes drifted shut again. This was a nice dream.
And then, suddenly, he remembered. Aidan's eyes snapped open abruptly and he all but shot into a sitting position. Tracey. Here. In his home. Slowly, almost hesitantly, Aidan's grin turned into proportions that threatened to break his face in half.
"YESSSSS!" He said triumphantly, sunk back into the pillows and rolled out of bed only a moment later. Hopefully she hadn't heard his little outbreak, Aidan thought with a sheepish smile as he stepped into his jeans and started looking for Tracey.
