He drank down a good portion of his wine and settled back a little in his chair. A slight smirk was already beginning to form on his face, and for a good moment Ron maintained that look without saying a single thing to Hermione. Of course, he knew that he'd probably get nothing more than irritation from her if he kept grinning at her like an idiot, so Ron straightened up and leaned in toward the table a little. "I think," Ron said slowly, "that this is the first time that I've ever seen you drink anything outside of a holiday." Something that Ron found to be strangely amusing.
"I don't know too many people that said that they were going to come to this thing," Ron admitted. His brow furrowed for a moment, and then Ron shrugged a little. "Well, aside from you. And Lavender Brown. But other than that, there hasn't been much talk on it from much of anyone."
