Hermione amazed herself; instead of being alarmed at the idea of sitting at a table drinking up a bottle or two of wine with Ron at an open even, she was a bit amused. And the surprises didn't stop when Ron pulled her chair out for her. She smiled at him and took her seat. "Thank you, Ron."
He opened the bottle, poured her a glass and made a toast. Well, something of a toast. Hermione gave him a knowing look. "Cheers to..." She thought for a second. "Cheers to the people that actually bid on these items," she motioned to the displays of objects. "And to sitting through it." She'd meant the last as sort of a 'thank you' to Ron, and after clinking her glass against his, she took a good drink from her glass.
Maybe people were right. Loosening up wasn't so bad.
