Lavender couldn't help but smirk when she noticed Bredina out of the corner of her eye. Next to Parvati, Bredina was the only other witch Lavender knew she could count on when it came to being able to withstand each other's personality. Not everyone would warm up to a painfully cheerful, blonde gossip with a knack for trouble.
"Am I your sloppy seconds then? It's a shame really. Parvati used to be so much more fun when she wasn't busy being Mrs. Malfoy," Lavender said as she playfully drew out the new last name of her best friend. She knew the only person that would understand was Bredina. Perhaps even Padma. Lavender preferred not sharing Parvati with her husband, though she knew she was equally guilty at the small amount of time the two had spent together recently.
"You should foot the bill. Or give me your shoes. Either way I'd be perfectly content."
Again out of the corner of her eye, she noticed someone else joining them at the table. Her brow raising curiously once she recognized who it was. "Corner?"
