Christopher had half a ear listening to what Parvati was saying as he was busy being distracted and comparing the prices on two strawberry jam spreads. He always had an affinity for jam spreads with peanut butter, and was an avid fan of eating more jam than bread. Briefly, he wondered if the difference in prices was due to the fact that one was brand name and the other was not. Was it just him, or does the phrase, "brand name jam spread" sound a little ridiculous. "I try," to take care of his wife, that is. He did not want to become one of those pureblood men with a trophy wife, that would take all the fun out of being married.
Turning to Parvati, Christopher raised an eyebrow, "She did? I mean, she wants to join the Orchids?" He can't recall Sally-Anne ever mentioning something like that, and if she did, Christopher was fairly positive he would remember. Not that it was any big deal. Sally-Anne can affiliate with any group she wanted, as long as it was within their agreed moral grounds, which Christopher overlapped at some point. He just did not think that Sally-Anne was interested in that type of thing.
