Parvati briefly wondered if Chris was a robot. Surely, not all those who worked in finances were this way? Certainly not the accountants and analysts that worked for Draco...but then again their overt friendliness to the young Mrs. Malfoy had lost them many a priviledge (one even was fired).
"That's so lovely that you go shopping for Sally-Anne!" Parvati cooed, "Well, they are really just empty calories, Christopher." Her mediwitchery self beginning to kick in. It was strange when this happened because happy-go-lucky Parvati quickly turned serious and professor-like, "If you're looking for fibre in a snack then you should consider that cereal "Tree Bark", it has 20g of fibre per serving and tastes quite nice overall." She glanced at him, "And it's not actually tree bark."
Clasping her hands together, Parvati nodded seriously, "Well, that's good. Please tell her that I would love to have her for tea when she's feeling up for it." An opening into high society could not be passed up, "I...I really feel so sorry that such a horrid thing had to happen to such a nice girl." Tears welled in Parvati's eyes at the thought.
