"Please, I'll always take your side," Padma said with a chuckle. This was mostly true-- Padma would usually side with her twin before anyone else, defending her fiercely, protectively, and scorned anyone who wished to say that they were wrong. Of course, sometimes she could do the exact opposite, gently letting her sister know that, no, she didn't exactly agree with her and didn't want to be a part of something, etc. Parvati didn't always listen but, then again, neither did Padma. And, watching her sister bind the parchment together, knowing Parvati still had a load of work left to do, she realised how much she would want a small wedding, should she ever get married.
"I didn't mind studying for exams," Padma rolled her eyes lightly but laughed it off. "Since there'll be sweets involved, you know I'll be there. Have you picked out a flavour for the cake yet?" She couldn't help that her sweetooth often got her into doing something before she decided she actually wanted to. Of course, she'd happily help Parvati pick out the courses and the cake without much bribery.
Padma made a small tut as she sighed. "Well, I'm sure they'll fix it eventually. How long can you really stay mad at with family?" The thought was foreign to Padma who, while she had her arguments with her own family, never stayed mad too long. "I'm fine up there, don't worry about me. I'm not going to kick up a fuss, promise."
Of course her twin would have forgotten about it. Padma could forgive her easily for that, since she was already up to her neck in wedding details. It's exactly this reason that made her bring it up, eager to move on with Parvati if she needed some help. "Well, I was thinking of grabbing a couple applications for us in the next few days and, when you've hit a lull in wedding planning, we could go through it and I could take the completed forms in. What say you?" She gave her sister an eager, pleased smile, the excitement easy to see in her features.
