Alicia paused at his comment, he had a point. Without turning around she ordered him another shot, telling the barkeep to put it on her tab. If she looked at him she might change her mind and that wasn't an option. She was saving them both a lot of grief in the morning.
When she stepped outside the cold air hit her sharply, doing nothing to ease her fuzzy mind. It was going to be a long walk home but maybe by the time she got there she wouldn't need a cold shower. She was doubtful though.
