"Parvati and Draco?" Spencer spat back wildly, "That's ONE out of a million! And being so unfortunate to being friends with Malfoy, I can tell you that in their past, he's done a helluva lot worse things to her than I've EVER done to you! They have a relationship that is the POLAR opposite to ours, so you can barely compare! Yeah, they're happy - but that doesn't mean we would've! Why would you have wanted to force me into marriage anyway? Isn't it worse to be married to someone who doesn't want to be than to be not married at all?" At her remark about them being together for three years in their youth he continued on in a rage, "EXACTLY! It did say something! What more did you WANT FROM ME?"
"No." He was stony-faced. "I didn't. My mistake was asking you that night. But I wasn't wrong in calling it off. It's not like I left you at the bleeding altar, Meg. And it's not like I wanted to break up."
Spencer grinned, shifting her slightly so she was almost on top of him. "Yeah. You opened the door and looked so incredulous at the sight of me, I was almost afraid before you bounced at me like a happy little bunny." His thumb brushed her bottom lip, "That's true. Though most of the time my methods were a little...unorthodox." Spencer gave her a devilish little smirk.
