Megan had not been looking forward to seeing Spencer, either. She was glad Seamus was out at the moment, as she was sure, as always, there was going to be some sort of breakdown on her part- though she really had no idea just how bad it was going to be. She and Spencer fit together so well, but when they clashed, Merlin did they clash. Their battles of epic proportion tended to leave Megan distraught for long afterward.
Megan visibily tensed as she heard the knocking on her door. Part of her wanted to shout that she wasn't home, but obviously that was out of the question as a) if no one was home no one would have said anything and b) Spencer would recognize her voice. Dragging her feet, Megan finally made her way to the door and pulled it open, forcing a weak smile. "Hi Spencer." She almost didn't invite him in. She almost made him stand on the stoop to talk to her so that she knew she had the option of slamming the door in his face- a very useful tool- should things get out of hand. But in the end, she stepped aside and widened the door to let him in. "Come in. Seamus is out at the moment."
