"People tell me to be careful but still support what I do! I obviously don't expect anyone to ENCOURAGE me, because obviously that would mean that hell froze over. But you guys don't have to be so disrespectful and rude!"
Roger stood up.
"Leave my mother out of this--" Roger stopped as Spencer started shouting again.
"Sick and tired of MY STUPIDNESS?" Roger laughed darkly. It seemed that negative discussion of drifting truly brought out Roger's worst side. "-MY- STUPIDNESS? Do you know how ILL it makes me feel to listen to you two blabber on about how much you like each other when I meet you each for a drink? How excruciating it is to watch you both live on your demented lifestyles, ripping each other's heads off, and then moping about it afterwards because your secret crush just ripped you a new one? And why? Because you both grew up so amazingly backwards that you can't just be normal and act on how you feel! You're the absolute WORST to each other," uh oh-- Roger was rambling, "but the TRUTH IS--"
Dina's fingers felt numb with excitement but her throat felt like it would spew vomit.
"--YOU'VE BEEN OBSESSED WITH EACH OTHER SINCE HOGWARTS!"
As the blood rushed out of Roger's head, the deafening silence that followed his little tirade reminded him of how much trouble he was going to get in. But no one shouted. Dina and Spencer had the most stupefied expressions on their face while Roger simmered down awkwardly. He inhaled, trying to think of something to say, but couldn't think of anyway to undo what had been said.
