Raking his hands through his wet hair, Roger sighed and discreetly tugged on Bredina's wrist to get out of the pool with him. If Spencer was in such a foul mood, it was better to at least sit levelly with him instead of allowing him to yell at them from above.
"Oh trust me, Spencer, I will never make the mistake of inviting you anywhere ever again," Bredina replied curtly, angrily accepting the towel that Roger offered her.
"I don't think she's a bitch for trying to encourage you to come out with us," Roger sighed, rubbing his head a bit. "And maybe Dina -should- have just let you stay home, but I said that I wanted to tell you guys something, so..." He swung his towel around his shoulders. "Let's just start from scratch."
"And by the way, as if your idea of what's attractive would be anything any sane woman would want to follow," Dina's voice cut in as she briskly dried off her legs with a towel. "But I'm sure you'll have enough luck in finding your next little trembling willow branch who will just marvel at your boneheadedness and mistake it for something actually worthwhile."
