Business Notes
Righto, plot pushes to come within the next few days but a few things to discuss.
ROLE CALL: Since I've been gone, the RP obviously hasn't been very busy and a couple of people seem completely MIA without notification of leave, sooo on that note, PLEASE COMMENT TO THIS POST to let me know you're still around!
THE MISSING LINK: Ingrid, our elusive Draco Malfoy, should be back from Hong Kong within the week, so bombard her with plots for Draco, Bredina or Roger. I know she's seems a brat, but it's just she's so in tune with her character ;)
THREADS: An alarming trend has been that threads have gone unfinished or left with only a few posts to them. I too am horrible at always remember to reply, especially with older threads, BUT leaving a thread at two or three posts is completely unacceptable - DO NOT DO THIS. If a thread is not going to be completed then it should at the VERY least be over 10 posts. WHEN ACTIVITY CHECKS ARE DONE, the missing member of threads which are so short will be considering to have not been active.
I also want to push you all to integrate yourselves into the RP. Just because I was gone and plots were pushing forward, doesn't mean that there's nothing to do. Make your own plots, take the background of the RPG and weave ideas from it - look at the oppresive patriarchal pureblood culture, consider the desperation one must have as a muggleborn or a poor halfblood, think about the repercussions of being in a wizarding world as a magicless witch whose peers are kidnapped all the time - take all that and come up with conversations, journal entries and thoughts. Seriously, guys. Furthermore, feel free to make up your own tidbits of wizarding culture - have a cute idea for a new wizarding contraption? Use it in your next thread! Make this is a rich world, with bits and pieces contributed by all of us!
I want everyone to take responsibility for threads and ideas into their own hands, I am your moderator, yes, but this isn't a dictatorship, so everyone should still be as creative and motivated if I'm not around.
