Rose M. Tyler ([info]jeopardysfriend) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,
"If you're going to pull out fairy tale princesses, I'm much more The Little Mermaid. She made her own destiny, even if she sort of screwed it up along the way." And, if she remembered the movie correctly, she had made an effort to save the prince.

But she really did like his Maid Marion comparison, too. She gave him a somewhat shy grin and nodded. "It's my middle name. And I mean that literally. Not like 'hey, danger is my middle name', but the real thing. Marion, that is." He was sitting. And sticking around. And she liked it. Oh, did she like it. Maybe she just desperately wanted company and didn't want to be left alone in that huge museum. Whatever the reason, she adored having him around, listening like what she said might actually be important.

"I like to think Marion was her own sort of woman," she continued. "Dating an outlaw and all that without caring who thought what about her." And she couldn't help herself. As he fixed the laces on one shoe, she reached over and pulled loose the lace of another. Let's see just how easy Dr. John Smith was to tease then.

"Besides," she added, avoiding his eyes as she looked away with an impish smile, "Robin shouldn't have gotten into trouble all the time. Then Marion wouldn't have had to have run off to save him." She'd bet Robin was terribly handsome.
