Entry tags:!dropped, day 16, illyana rasputin, location: forest, remus lupin, spock

Who: Remus Lupin, Illyana Rasputin, and Spock
What: More new arrivals..
Where: The Forest: closest landmark, the Cemetery.
When: Day 16, 7:45am
Rating: PGish
Status: Complete

It had been two days since the Full Moon and the young Remus Lupin looked worse for wear. He had darker circles under his eyes (but they were quickly fading as the strength of the waxing moon left him in its wake), and a gauze square on his cheek, taped perfectly with white, water-proof medical tape, to assure that it remained there. He had a smaller cut over his opposite eyebrow, and several bandaged wounds beneath the shirt he was wearing.. the pale blue shirt, with little white spots. And matching pants. The young man had been snatched directly from the medical wing, straight out of his bed, dropped into the forest of some strange place. And he awoke slowly, hazel eyes cracking open just a bit, before they opened a little more, pupils readjusting to the light filtering down in through the trees. Where was he? The soft hospital bed was gone, replaced by leaves and grass and dirt. And he was slowly sitting up, lifting a dirty hand to his cheek to feel the gauze there. His hand, likewise, had gauze taped across the back. He looked like he'd been put through a blender just recently, or something equally as awful. His mouse-brown hair was already spotted with gray, making him look quite the sight indeed.

But he was looking around slowly, taking in the trees, and wondering what species a few of them were, before he looked down and noticed the bodies around him. He immediately jerked some and pushed up to bare feet, letting out a sudden breath. He was sure, of course, that the other two were dead. The young werewolf, only sixteen a few weeks ago, was stumbling back a few quick steps to avoid those bodies, only to trip over the box behind him and fall into the brush near a tree. The box flipped open and the contents spilled out, hazel eyes falling onto them. Socks? Matches? A book-- no, a journal. His fingers slowly stretched out to pick that journal up, and he might have had a chance to open it, but then his head snapped up at the sound of one of the bodies.

Illyana Rasputin had not been having a good week. Burying a friend, being unable to bury her brother, and dealing with a mentor who wasn't sure how to handle her anymore had stressed her to the breaking point. And the tensions in Limbo hadn't done anything to help either. S'ym was planning something, and it wasn't good. But it wasn't something she felt like dealing with on top of everything else. So, when Dani had all but forced her into a bathing suit and pushed her out the door toward West Chester, she hadn't protested. She needed to get out of the mansion, away from the memories lingering there, and just have a little time to herself to attempt to do something normal. She'd been walking down toward the front gates of the mansion when she was taken, black bikini covered with a pair of faded jeans and a cleavage-revealing tank top.

The rough ground of the forest dug into her exposed skin, poking at her chest and neck in painful ways, as she came to lying face down in the dirt. "What the...." she mumbled. She pushed herself into a sitting position, coming face to face with unfamiliar surroundings, a scared-looking boy with bandages, and another young man lying not too far off from her. Immediately, she tensed. Something was definitely not right. Instinct said teleport away, get back home, but even in this situation, the idea of passing through Limbo at the moment did not appeal. She wasn't in any immediate danger, as far as she could tell, so best to wait it out and see what was going on. Meanwhile, she looked up at the boy, who, to be fair to him, was probably not much younger than she was. "Hey," she said, lifting a hand in a wary greeting. "I take it you have about as much idea of what's going on as I do."
