Entry tags:!incomplete, day 14, dean winchester, location: thrift store, nymphadora tonks, open

Who: Tonks and..OTA
Where: The Thrift Shoppe
When: Day 14, around 1045am
What: Tonks wants new clothes
Rating: PG?
Status: Incomplete

Reminder: The Thrift Shoppe is the site where all five reactions combine.

Today was a good day. Tonks could feel it. So good, in fact that she was quite giggly while cruising along the path toward the thrift store. The witch needed new threads like whoa. Her poor jeans were still quite holey (more holey than normal) since they hadn't been fixed up with the magical reset. Holey. Holy. She started laughing at the wordplay. "Should give my clothes a right proper burial, bein' holy and all." This was spoken conversationally. But there was no one around.

All the same, the woman with the pink-and-green striped hair was bouncing along closer to the store. "When I'm out walkin' I strut my stuff, an' I'm so strung out.." Not too bad of a singer, but dancing was out of the question. She twirled around and strutted her stuff like the song said, but only ended up tripping over her own feet and tumbling to the ground. "Oi!" Looking quite put out, she stayed there for a minute and then started giggling at herself and laid back on the ground, right in the middle there. And why not? It was as fine a place as any.

Dean had been out walking toward the pharmacy because apparently that was were silly billy Lexie had decided to hole up and eat her heart out. He wanted to be sure she was magically delicious. No, wait, he wanted to be sure she was okay. Oh his head felt funny and there was still that lingering unicorn trailing him down the road. He'd asked it nicely to go home but the darn thing just wanted to come along.

He heard a singing voice, it was a girl. Not the first girl singing voice he'd heard since venturing out this morning but this one might be real because there on the ground was a giggly girl! Oh and he recognized her too even as he stumbled over his own feet a bit drunkenly and giggled himself. Damn, Winchester. Giggling?

What the fuck was going on here? Did it matter? No, it really didn't. Except now that he saw Tonks lying there he had the sudden urge to kiss her. What? That couldn't be right, could it? Oh yeah, that pink hair. Those pipes. He was on his knees beside her. "Tonks! You need some help there, my little violent femme?" he asked, chuckling as his tummy began to rumble. When was the last time he'd eaten?

"Deany-Dean!" Eyes had been closed, watching the colours behind her eyelids, but she'd know the voice anywhere. Tonks had a good memory for that sort of thing. Her gaze flashing open, the witch grinned impishly and sat up quick. This was only to grab him and tug him down with her in a hug.

"Glad to see you're alright!" And she was too. Tonks was glad for a lot of things right now. Like holding on to someone as she was holding on to Dean. Was that normal? Bah. Who cared. She grinned again and suddenly rolled as to be leaning her chin on his chest. "Didya see all the colours? They must have painted the buildings! I sorta want to change my hair to that one that's like a peacock." So, what she wanted she did. And hair shifted from pink and green to add more blues and purples in there as well.
