"It was pretty bad," Lexie relented, shaking her head. She wasn't sure what was worse: working those conditions or not being able to do everything she wanted to. House had told her to go take up residence until she had two fully functional hands, and she did. It was demoralizing. Shaking her head she pushed the thought far away into the back of her mind. She didn't want to keep that sort of thing up for too long, otherwise she'll just wind up all miserable again.
Lexie smiled and nodded slowly as Elliot dismissed her thanks. She was used to it, not many people were good at being thanked, Lexie included.
"I'd say we'd go to Disney World, but that doesn't seem like a possibility," Lexie smiled. "I guess people are looking for ways out, though, I don't know how useful I'd be at that..." Lexie shrugged. She was a doctor not an engineer or a scientist or a mathematician. "Too bad there isn't any really good coffee... Or maybe a cup of soup? Anything warm and wonderful. Like Macaroni and cheese..." Can you tell that Lexie Grey eats when stressed?
