Day 13: 11AM, Woods near the Gym
Who: Lexie Grey, Dean Winchester, OTA
When: Day 13, 8AM
Where: The Forest near the gym
Rating: TBD

Status: Complete

Rolling over on her cot Lexie reflexively tugged up the top of her blanket expecting to feel the breeze on her face at any moment courtesy of the fractured ceiling. She also expected the feeling of the sunshine beating on the backs of her eyelids or the feeling of dew on the exposed bit of canvas beneath her bare feet. Hell, she'd really been ready to feel the twinge in her shoulder as her body weight moved and manipulated the seperation between tendons and bones. No pain came. Lexie's eyes snapped open, half expecting to find herself locked up some place, or without an arm, or without any light at all. Instead, she was in the gym. A gym that was quiet and dark and whole The sun hadn't been up for long at all; and it looked like everyone else was still quite asleep. But, they were all there.

Lexie rolled her shoulder, playing with her range of motion. She could hardly keep quiet as she pulled off the sling and threw it on the floor. She wanted to burn the damned thing. She wanted to burn the whole damned place down! With bare feet she hurried between the rows of cots, down the hallway that was so very familiar and arrived at her room. Her un mistakable room. Dean's flowers were still sitting on the window sill, the cot with the extra padding of cushions was still quite right with the shelves as they should have been, too. Lexie actually gasped. It was all, alright. She knew she hadn't have dreamed all of that; but, yet it all seemed surreal with everything put back in it's place.

Running at full speed back to her cot she pulled on her sneakers. She wouldn't be spending one more minute in this gym. No, she had to get out and breathe. She had to see if everything had been restored. Everything.

Popping out the double doors she was greeted with righted trees and pristine pavement. With facades she knew so well and a serenity that only accompanied early morning. Sure, the sky was dark; but, what did it matter? Everything had been fixed. Everything was OK. She was OK. She didn't know how, but she was!

Lexie started to run, the blood on her scrubs non-existant, it being the only trace that she'd ever been injured at all. There was the pharmacy and the thrift shop. The Theater and the clock tower. Everything seemed to be back. Less than a run now, Lexie was dancing. She veered off, into the woods, coming around full circle with flushed cheeks. With a thunderclap the sky opened up and raindrops thick and heavy started to pelt her. Lexie stopped, looking up at the sky, laughing.

"Is that it?! A thunderstorm?" She taunted. There was laughter in her voice, genuine, real laughter.

Dean caught that blush and smiled inwardly. She really was more than cute. Much more as far as he was concerned. Whether that blush was something she knew how to turn on for effect or was an actual, honest flush he wasn't sure. It didn't matter because it only added to his attraction for her.

With a knowing look, he canted his head. "You couldn't or wouldn't? And what's this being corrupted business? You started all of this," he teased.

Dean let his finger continue down an inch or so more along the soaked fabric before putting the flat of his palm over her heart which he did know, unlike most people, was more central than to the side. He'd had enough trips to the hospital to have learned some things. He let his hand rest there. Let her take that as she wanted to take it. His eyes were still alight with mischief. Your move, Doc.

He shook his head in answer to her, "No?" and was about to smile when she took his face between her hands and kissed him. Score another point for Dean Winchester. That was the second time he'd gotten her to give in and kiss him first. There was something so satisfying with pushing her to that brink and watching her tumble in. It was almost as satisfying as this kiss. Because he'd been wanting it for days.

His newly somewhat-clean hands slid down and slipped around her as she lifted onto her knees. He held her close, his fingers pressing gently to the small of her back. A habit of his that usually ensured whoever he was kissing wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon. Maybe she wasn't playing anymore but she was going to have to prove it herself. He was still playing because he wasn't exactly aware of when games stopped and reality began for Lexie.

Maybe this was playing with fire but there didn't seem to be the need to fear being burned. Not for Dean at least. He knew that whatever the outcome of this little interlude, he'd still very much enjoy Lexie Grey. Whether she was innocently protesting corruption or naughtily being suggestive in her own way. He liked it all. But, it was time to up the ante again. Gently he broke from her lips, letting her keep his face between her palms.

"Is kissing all you want to do with me?" he asked, working at not smiling as he did. "Bad girls usually do more." The last bit added with an almost evil glint in his eye. He was daring her again.

If Lexie could read minds and know that Dean had wanted that kiss just as much as she had she probably would have held back just a bit longer, to try and see just how much he really wanted it. It was a cat-mouse game and Lexie had been the mouse the entire time. Or, at least she felt like it, anyway. Though, at least there was something a little bit satisfying of his playing into her hand with a mischievous shake of his head in response to her question.

His hand slipping down to rest against her chest would have made it absolutely clear just how much he'd made her heart race. For her it was practically pounding inside of her head and she had to fight the urge to swallow it down. Instead, she'd given in to desire and kissed him. It felt like victory, sweet and heavy and thick. As his hands moved and shifted so he could press his grip into the small of her back and hold. He had a way, didn't he, of lowering her defenses? That's not to say she was especially guarded generally; but, he made her feel like she didn't have to be.

Though, she did feel like she was putting another level on top of the house of cards. In a way, of course, that was invigorating. Not knowing if she'd get away with it or if the whole thing would go crashing in on itself. Perhaps recent events back in the real world had left her a bit gun shy; a bit tentative about jumping in with both feet. Or,perhaps it was the fact she had a very charismatic, handsome hero on her hands that probably didn't have a clue just how easily Lexie Grey actually fell.

When Dean pulled backward, she was left with her thumbs against the edges of his jaw and her chest rising and falling in not so subtle heaves. She'd almost followed him backward there, actually.

She was surprised at his question. He may have had a playful glint in his eye and a daring tone; but, something about the fact he'd asked at all hinted at what Lexie could almost think of as vulnerability. No, maybe something else... Whatever it was, Little Grey didn't miss a beat. He was going to dare, she was going to accept; because, emotional or mental attraction or not, the physical anticipation could not be ignored.

She lowered her eyes, her face going downturned for a moment in a look of feigned disappointment. She took a deep breath, like she might say something, as her hands slipped from his jaw, down his shoulders and came to rest at the bottom of his shirt just above the waistband of his jeans. Abruptly her hands clenched the fabric, pulling him close again. If the previous kiss had been a dare, this one was more of a demand. It wasn't often that Lexie Grey didn't get what she wanted, and she wasn't about to start a trend now.

Her kiss trailed away from his mouth, leading her lips to his ear. "Your move, Winchester."
