Day 13: 11AM, Woods near the Gym
Who: Lexie Grey, Dean Winchester, OTA
When: Day 13, 8AM
Where: The Forest near the gym
Rating: TBD

Status: Complete

Rolling over on her cot Lexie reflexively tugged up the top of her blanket expecting to feel the breeze on her face at any moment courtesy of the fractured ceiling. She also expected the feeling of the sunshine beating on the backs of her eyelids or the feeling of dew on the exposed bit of canvas beneath her bare feet. Hell, she'd really been ready to feel the twinge in her shoulder as her body weight moved and manipulated the seperation between tendons and bones. No pain came. Lexie's eyes snapped open, half expecting to find herself locked up some place, or without an arm, or without any light at all. Instead, she was in the gym. A gym that was quiet and dark and whole The sun hadn't been up for long at all; and it looked like everyone else was still quite asleep. But, they were all there.

Lexie rolled her shoulder, playing with her range of motion. She could hardly keep quiet as she pulled off the sling and threw it on the floor. She wanted to burn the damned thing. She wanted to burn the whole damned place down! With bare feet she hurried between the rows of cots, down the hallway that was so very familiar and arrived at her room. Her un mistakable room. Dean's flowers were still sitting on the window sill, the cot with the extra padding of cushions was still quite right with the shelves as they should have been, too. Lexie actually gasped. It was all, alright. She knew she hadn't have dreamed all of that; but, yet it all seemed surreal with everything put back in it's place.

Running at full speed back to her cot she pulled on her sneakers. She wouldn't be spending one more minute in this gym. No, she had to get out and breathe. She had to see if everything had been restored. Everything.

Popping out the double doors she was greeted with righted trees and pristine pavement. With facades she knew so well and a serenity that only accompanied early morning. Sure, the sky was dark; but, what did it matter? Everything had been fixed. Everything was OK. She was OK. She didn't know how, but she was!

Lexie started to run, the blood on her scrubs non-existant, it being the only trace that she'd ever been injured at all. There was the pharmacy and the thrift shop. The Theater and the clock tower. Everything seemed to be back. Less than a run now, Lexie was dancing. She veered off, into the woods, coming around full circle with flushed cheeks. With a thunderclap the sky opened up and raindrops thick and heavy started to pelt her. Lexie stopped, looking up at the sky, laughing.

"Is that it?! A thunderstorm?" She taunted. There was laughter in her voice, genuine, real laughter.

Could anybody fault her for playing the same game he was? To be teased without teasing back would be like playing tennis and having someone serve the ball and not trying to hit it back. So, he'd tease and she'd tease and they'd keep upping the ante. It was fun and invigorating and it made Lexie feel like she was so very, very alive in a place that seemed only want to mash her into the ground at every turn. Lexie Grey reminded herself that this was no place for emotional attachment. Yet, she knew she was flirting with intent, whatever that meant.

"Just surprised," he mused quietly, letting her lips brush along his jaw. "Can't say anybody has ever called me that before. You must bring out the worst in me." When she leaned back to take a better survey of the immediate area, Lexie found herself with his muddy fingers tapping at her chin and smearing it around like fingerpaint. Shifting she raised her arm to wipe it off with the back of her forearm because it seemed every other bit of her aside from her back was covered in dirt. When did she get so dirty, exactly?

"Bad things?" Kadablink. "I have no idea waht you mean," she was playing at his game. So, she was playing coy. Probably because their position made it absolutely clear what bad boys and girls did.

Leaning back a bit further she ran her hands up the sides of his head, causing the wet, muddy hair at the top to spike up when she'd finished. she could have had a mohawk going if it'd been just a smidge longer. Setting her arms back down again to wrap once more around his shoulders she smirked. "That's one rockin' hair style you have there, chief."

His face was almost comical as he continued to lay it on pretty thick. Lexie didn't hold it against him at all, it was all sort of blunted by his charisma. So, was it surprsing when she didn't see that hand of his coming for her side? Well, it shouldn't have been because Lexie was too busy thinking about the fact that she was sitting on top of a very attractive man in an outfit that was so wet it practically had become like a second skin.

"Hey!" She jumped up and forward, laughing. "I thought I had already won this battle!" Her arms stayed precisely where they were around his shoulders and her knees stayed quite permanently posted at his sides. The gears, for Lexie anyway, had shifted subtily. It was a game between them still, sure; perhaps more a competition. Though, it was hard to think of it as so much a simple game when she'd already let her mind slip back to their afternoon in the pharmacy and where it hadn't quite gone.

Lexie was going to be a bit daring - because sitting in the rain with someone like him let her inhibitions fall just a little. She scooted in a bit more closely, so close that she could feel the heat coming off his chest. "So, that's all you want to do then, tickle me?" Why yes, Dean, she did know what you meant.
