Entry tags:!complete, day 12, fina, leonard mccoy, location: forest, ramirez

Who: Fina, Ramirez & Doctor McCoy
Where: In the woods?
When: Day 12, 7am
Why: Arrival!

Fina was laid out on the grass, her arms near her head and hands slightly curled. Her hands moved a little and she felt a pressure on her stomach, her eyes opened and saw Cupil. She grinned and her hands went around him, his body moulding to how she embraced him so he was like flattened balloon. Her hands pressed against the grounds and she leaned up, looking around a little to hopefully find something at hand.

Her eyes found a small kit and she opened it, her hands flipped through the book, looked at the tic-tacs and water. She wasn't sure what it was and she shrugged, putting it away in her side pack. The girl wiped off her white dress and started walking in her very feminine walk, mostly hips and waist with very little arm sway.

Once she was out of the forest, she called with her hand near her mouth,"Vyse? Aika?" She called.

No one came, she frowned but looked to the upside-down floating Cupil. She smiled, putting her hand on her hip and looking around the surroundings.

"Where are we?"

Light poured over his face. Was it morning so suddenly? It seemed as though the dreams he had were so surreal he'd never come back from them. The warmth against his cheeks caused him to squint a bit, before opening his eyelids and sitting up. Looking around, all the young Silvite Admiral could see were trees. Lots and lots of them with leaves all around the ground. Was he in Ixa'taka? This couldn't be anywhere else. Instantly, the man of the silver moon would grasp for his sword which normally hung by the hilt. Sadly, it was not there. This was a bit of a concern, as he had no way to protect himself against any wild animals or nearby villagers whom would jump at the opportunity to skin a Valuan.

Standing and looking around, Ramirez didn't see any Ixa'takans. Nor did he find anything that looked remotely like the land of the Green Moon. No, this place was different. Had he found some place new? Looking down, the lithe admiral held a hand to his forehead, trying to think. What happened last? Slowly, the young man recalled the events that transpired before he was found here. That scum Vyse actually managed to defeat him. He was about to merge with Zelos, and now all he could remember is waking up here. Was this the land of the dead? Or perhaps the inside of Zelos?

Either way, Ramirez noticed the only thing around him. Some sort of box left there. Raising a brow, the Valuan soldier would kneel down and glance it over a second before opening it. A bottle of water, some wet sticks, socks, and a crummy looking book. Wonderful. Of course, he'd reach for the book and open it up. Nothing, nothing on any page. That was helpful. Putting it all back, he'd close the box and notice the words. Vas Captio. Whatever thats supposed to mean. Placing it in his jacket, the light-haired Silvite would glance around again for any signs of life, before walking off in...well, whatever direction he was facing. Hard to tell at the moment.

Fina wrote in her journal while Cupil flew around in the area, making himself a nuisance. During her writing, she actually saw Ramirez' scribbles and was unsure how to take it, so she started looking around and walked directly into Ramirez with a rather shocked expression before he even turned around. She'd known it was him because of the smell coming off of his clothes, she took a few steps back so he'd turn around and see her.

The light-blonde might have been talking a lot of how wrong he was, but there was no protection from anyone to keep him from doing anything. Her hand went to her mouth,"Rami...?"

The world was spinning. Not only was it spinning it didn't smell right. There was something about the sterile, stale air of a starship that made an impression on a man's delicate sense of smell. That, and the humidity. And the wind. The Enterprise did not have wind. Ever. Unless there was a hull breech. In which case said hull breech must be in his quarters. It would explain the silence of the vacuum of space. Bones' eyes flipped open in a near panic.

He found himself on his back in the middle of the woods. There was a rock jabbing him in the side and some sticks pointy end up sticking into the back of his head. The ground beneath him was hard and the wind was ripping through the trees like a sonova. "What in the hell is this?" He asked, pushing up from the forest floor with a groan. The forest around him was quiet aside from the not so gentle rustling of the tree branches. He reached up and rubbed his forehead. Last thing he remembered was going to sleep in his quarters. He hadn't even had anything to drink.

The officer was on his feet quickly, trying to figure out if, perhaps, he was still asleep. With a pinch to his arm he confirmed the worst - he was, in fact, quite awake. Taking a step forward he kicked a box. "Dammit!" He howled, clinching his teeth and balling his hands up into fists. Opening the box there was a small bag. The writing was impossible to read in the low light; but, it was some sort of survival pack he supposed. What was this some sort of Star Fleet training mission? Weren't you supposed to be done with those once you were commissioned? Maybe he had it all backward.

"Holy Moses, they got me again, didn't they?" He said to himself, scratching his head. Just what was he supposed to do now?

Wait? Was that somebody talking. Brows knitting he looked around. "Hello? Someone else there?"

Ramirez had stopped to scribble in the journal a bit, noticing he could read Fina's writings. Fina...saying a few things to her, before she jumped right into him. Turning around, he merely stared at her blankly, finding her expression rather surprising. That old name...he wasn't very fond of it now, Ramirez suited him much better. The smell of her clothing was that of the skies, of Arcadia.

"...this place grows stranger and stranger."

Suddnely footsteps and yelling not far off, followed by more yelling that became audible words. Looking to Fina, his brows furrowed as usual. "Stay behind me." Natural instinct to serve and protect of course. Upon finding the man who was hollering, he appeared strangely dressed. Very strange. "State your business." He said, taking a defensive posture that screamed 'I will kill you on the spot'.

The other male coming up from behind them made cause for her to be shielded by Ramirez, he'd never protected her since she was a child. Why should he do so now? Weren't they still enemies? Fina saw the man in the strange clothes, which reminded her of a obnoxious Marco if he were a Silvite. This caused her to giggle and she side-stepped Ramirez,"Hello...?" She called out, waving her hands at Ramirez.

Cupil, on the other hand, was less trustworthy and floated in Ramirez' face making angry noises. His appearance turning spikey and pushing against Ramirez in order to protect Fina.

"Why are you yelling?" Her eyes were kind of wide, like a child, but curious.

The curmugeon of a doctor carefully navigated through the downed trees into the small clearing where the two were huddled. Wonderful. Were they enlisting extras now, too. Just give the whole thing an extra little bit of feeling. Well this doctor would not be playing along. Sorry, Starfleet.

Time to rattle off the script. Again. "I'm Doctor McCoy, Chief Medical Officer from the starship Enterprise. Are you in need of assistance?" They'd just managed to wake him up from a sound sleep, like hell he was going to act cheerful.

That look the kid was giving him? Like he'd kill him? Yeah, McCoy didn't care.

Ramirez continued to size the stranger down. He wasn't sure what to think of him, though upon learning he was a doctor, the light-haired young man would ease up. Though Cupil getting in his face made him frown, slapping him away and walking closer. "I'm Ramirez, Admiral of the Valuan Armada. We're fine, though we're lost...you said starship?" This piqued his interest a bit. A silvite? No...could he be from another planet? "Are you from Arcadia?"

Ramirez always had respect for doctors, one of his only friends being one. Though this man seemed a bit more on edge than his old friend.

"This place looks nothing like where we're from...do you recognize it?"

The moment that Cupil was slapped, he spun around horizontally and then vertically. A funny sound escaped from Cupil's mouth that sounded like a high-pitched squeal with a wakka-wakka noise. The moment that Fina heard the sound, she turned around and her eyes stared at Ramirez with a very unhappy look on her face. It was clear that she did not like him hitting Cupil, but she did not say anything and turned around to the Doctor again, offering a slight smile.

"...A starship?" She tilted her head, eyes slightly widened as she imagined something quite more comical like a cartoon star on an ugly pirate ship. "I am Fina, this is Cupil." She pointed to the floating thing around her and offered a respectful bow.

Doctor McCoy coughed a little. He'd forgotten about the Prime Directive. Then again, these people seemed to be human, right? they seemed to have some sort of technology. "Arcadia?" Bones' lip curled a bit. He didn't know what Arcadia was but he wasn't from there. "No." He said plainly. Prime Directive in full force now, he supposed.

The girl started asking about his starship and McCoy had two options - deny or ignore. He chose to just shrug. "Are either of you injured?" He asked outright. He needed to wrack up his medical points if he had any hope of getting off this rock and away from the very well paid extras. He wondered if either of them were actually in Starfleet.

Cupil's little noise was ignored of course, he'd heard enough of that to last him a life time. And Fina's glare was ignored, though he knew she was angry with him doing that.

"No, we're uninjured." Ramirez noticed him avoiding the subject of the starship, which made him more curious now. Regardless, the man probably wouldn't spill any secrets at the moment. Better to play it cool and wait for him to slip up.

"You appear to be okay...do you know anything about whats going? If you aren't from Arcadia..where could you be from then?"

Now that the two of them were talking, she did not feel the need to continue doing so herself. Stepping near Cupil who looked ready to vomit, she bent down a little and pulled up the dizzy creature and gave him a gentle squeeze. Once the squeeze was released, the creature disappeared near her wrist and she looked around silently. Granted, she didn't believe that Ramirez would kill her outright.

The gentle blonde move to check out where they were, wandering away from them only briefly before coming back. Fina wasn't as stupid as some people were to pull away from a group, get far away and find themselves in danger. Coming back to the conversation, she patiently listened.

"Well, if no one is injured here..." Well, that was disappointing. With no one here to mend he needed to get someplace else to start acquiring his points. Especially those points he'd lost being an idiot and not sticking with the Prime Directive. Dammit. Usually when they were dropped in uniform it was assumed that they were in a place that knew about the Federation. Not so much here, apparently.

"Oh, I'm just passing through,"damned right he was passing through. He looked around with a speculative gaze, watching as the girl and what the hell was that thing, a pet?! trundled away from them and looked about for a little while.

"I'm just here to help, I'm a doctor." Truth be told Bones wasn't sure why he was here. He'd managed to somehow sidestep the extra tasked with briefing him. Go figure.

Curling his lip he squinted through the trees. "I think there's some building in that general direction. I'm going to go look and see what I can find."

The man was hiding things from him, and Ramirez could see it. Nodding, he replied. "Good to have a doctor around, never know when an accident can happen." He said with a smirk. He looked off in the distance. Unsure if he saw the building or not, the Silvite would nod.

"We'll go with you." He stayed side by side with the doctor, hoping to find out more about what he'd let slip earlier.

"You know, the only way to leave Arcadia would be to go into space. You said you're...passing through? Not from Arcadia?"

Who really knew what Cupil was, Fina wasn't sure it even had a name other than Cupil. That was just the name she gave it when she could speak, but she'd always had it.

Fina stood near Ramirez, listening to their conversation and nodding to his statement of going with him,"We'd love to accompany you, it's usually better to travel in groups." The blonde waited for the other two men to go first, she was physically weaker and her being in front was a ridiculous concept.

The way the strangely haired man was talking, it was like he was trying to bait McCoy into anticipating whatever accident this damned mission had laid out for him. Well, he'd keep his cool and roll with the punches.

Oh, this was just dandy. Kid was talking about Arcadia and things he was supposed to know. Well, he didn't know them because he hadn't been briefed so he didn't know what to respond with outside of the "Uh huh," which he let slip by as he tugged down his shirt and continued walking in the direction of the structure just ahead of them.

"I'm taking it neither of you are locals here, either." Statement, not question.

He looked at Fina as she spoke, before turning back to walk ahead and stay close to this doctor. He didn't want to lose him, as he could give him useful information.

The 'uh huh' wasn't taken too seriously. The man didn't appear to be paying attention or know what he was talking about. He would use that response to try and change things around though. "No we're not locals to this place. Its very different from Arcadia, I do not know of it."

"So where are you from? Another planet?" He'd ask, hoping for a response.

Fina followed them, allowing the two stronger males to lead while she stood behind for support. Finding that her powers were severely weakened, Cupil was quick to return to her dainty wrist and disappear. It seemed easier to allow the two males to speak, her questions were usually being asked by Ramirez anyhow.

It took her some effort to get through the area and when she was out of the forest and into a clearing, she stretched on her tip toes.
