Sarah could tell as she approached that both men were deeply affected by what had happened yesterday. The Doctor's face hadn't lit up quite as much as it should have, and she knew firsthand just how hard Jack had been working, and how tirelessly. Experience told her the Doctor had been doing just as much, if not more. So, not too cheerful. But, seeing them both all right and walking towards her, calling out greetings, Sarah couldn't help but be cheered.

The Doctor held his arms out, and Sarah hurried forward, wincing slightly at the pain in her hip and leg as she did so. The pain could stuff it; this was the Doctor, and there were certain things more important than a strained or bruised muscle. She let herself be wrapped up in his embrace, flinging her arms around him as well. "I'm so glad you're all right," she said, the relief evident in her voice. She turned to Jack. "Both of you." When the Doctor let go of her, she turned to give Jack a hug as well.
