What: Gambit decides to take a closer look at the town.

Where: In the small town, nearest the gas station.

Remy had left Ammy behind in the forest, where they'd both woken up, with both of the 'survival kits'. He didn't know what was going on, but he certainly wasn't about to let her wander out into the open. She was a woman and she didn't seem to be that.. able to defend herself. No. The best idea was to leave her where they'd been safe for the last half hour or so, leave her where he knew there was nothing waiting in the wings for her. So that was what he'd done, and that was why he was presently moving quietly and cautiously out of the tree line towards the closest building he'd been able to see.. it looked a little like a gas station. What the Hell sort of screwed up place was this? Well, at least a gas station meant humans, right?
Unfortunately, it could have meant the people who had brought them here, but even if that was the case, Remy wouldn't have been that upset. In fact, he would have been thrilled, he could blow a few things up, demand to go home, and make it back before anyone even noticed he was missing. If Logan found out that he'd been captured like this, he would never hear the end of it from that Porcupine.
His heavy boot crunched on a twig as he came around the corner of the run-down looking convenience store and he inwardly winced, the noise sounding much louder in the silence around him, and he mentally scolded himself. What sort of proper thief made noise like that while he was going after something shiny? Not this thief! The Cajun lightened his steps as he came around to the front of the gas station and let partially gloved fingers trace over the gas pump, then he let his eyes wander to the front of the building. Maybe there was something inside he could use.
A deck of cards would be nice. "'Dis some screwed up shit." The trench-coat clad man announced quietly to the silence around him.
