"I don't even know, honestly. I was in a plane crash," Shannon explained with a shrug, taking another drink of water. "I really hope they won't, but it wouldn't be anything new to me, if I'm honest," she sighed, letting her head fall back against the refrigerator door again.
She furrowed her brow and glanced at him, tilting her head toward him to do so. "Shit demon? You're kidding me, right?"
"Oh, God, no," Shannon was quick to reply, wrinkling her nose and looking away. "Please. Look at me. I know people want to fuck me; I'd fuck me. I'm just not a very nice person and people don't generally like me very much," she replied in an almost detached voice.
