Hello, Darkness, My Old Friend, I've Come to Talk With You Again
Who: Laurie Juspeczyk and Rorschach
What: A long-postponed encounter between the two crimefighters
Where: The gym
When: Day 8, late afternoon
Rating: PG-13
Status: Active

Rorschach had few friends in Vas Captio; that was one of the closest things to truth that existed in his small, uncompromising world. The person, other than Merope, who was most likely to understand him at this time had never much actually cared for him. Still, Laurie was promising in that she had known him the longest and been in a mutually fulfilling relationship with the closest friend Rorschach had ever gained, and that alone was encouraging. It meant that her words probably wouldn't turn to venom and that the two of them might actually communicate, something that Rorschach scarcely ever achieved with anyone at all.

Approaching the gym like a shadow even though the sun was still high in the sky, he tried the door. It swung open fairly easily, which meant that the people residing within probably weren't worried about break-ins and such in a world where everyone knew everyone else's identity. Not that it would have mattered much, if the door had been locked. Rorschach had never been stopped by efforts to keep him out of places. In fact, one could go so far as to say that such attempts encouraged him further to break in.

Rorschach was uncertain where Laurie was actually staying, but unless she was out and about (like most of the gym's other residents, hence the reason he had chosen now to visit), but he didn't think it would take long to find her. She was difficult to miss, as a rule, with her bright yellow outfit and long, dark hair. Rorschach knew that there was a possibility that she had exchanged her ostentatious, distracting, and revealing whore-wear for something from the thrift-store, but he remembered faces. He was Rorschach, after all.

"Boy is man. Intelligent idiot, probably mentally compromised somehow. Like child in mind. Called Ryuzaki, sometimes L, maybe other things. Not multiple personalities." Rorschach spoke with fluent ease to Laurie, perfectly willing to share information with someone he knew he trusted.

"Yes. Merope," he confirmed, nodding his masked head briskly. "Should meet her. Might like her, though is nothing like you."
