Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:!dropped, !incomplete, day 08, kaylee frye, location: thrift store, npc, open, tinker bell

Who: Dean v. 2.0 and Open
What: Looking for shinies in the thrift store
When: Early afternoon, the Thrift Store
Rating: PG to start

Status: Dropped

Clone-Dean had made it in to the Thrift Shop after lunch with a very simple mission - he wanted to wear something shiny.

It was a strange thing for him to want because he knew that his memories said that thins too shiny were bad and that he shouldn't wear them; but, he felt compelled, like he needed to have all the shiny things in the store.

Moving from rack to rack, his arm out he started taking things off the hangers - everything with rhinestones, bedazzled jewels or sequins made it on to his arm. Only when he had them all would he choose. It was then that he found the belts. It was THE belt - the shiny one that he had deemed tacky before. It wasn't that bad, look at how shimmery and good it was even in the low light of the shop!

"Come to papa," he grinned, adding it to his growing pile.

This is a spectacular day.

The clone was standing quite still when someone snagged onto his arm. As his neck craned so that he might actually realize what had it's grasp on him he gasped. It was that naked girl. He slightly, vaguely remembered the naked girl.

"It's cold... and you're naked?" He blurted still holding quite fast to the bling in his hands. He was going to keep the belt. "I like the belt."

Then came the delicate sound of the bells above the door. The Clone froze.

"Uh... not a private moment... Just naked time, I guess," he said, looking over his shoulder at the cute as a button girl standing there.

"Private moment?" she said, turning slightly. She laughed a bit. She'd wished that it had been a private moment, but that woman had wrecked it. Why couldn't she have just stayed alone in the thrift shop? She was mildly annoyed, but it was no big deal. "Oh, no, not at all. I was just commenting that Dean here has a very nice belt." She giggled, smiling sweetly.

Stretching, she looked back to Dean. "I just woke up. I usually sleep naked. It's a little less annoying than sleeping with clothes on. Why? Is there something wrong with it?"

It was when she heard River's name that she actually found her attention moving away from Dean. "Oh, I know River. I saw her yesterday. I haven't seen her today, though I just got up so she might still be around here somewhere." She shrugged, sliding a hand through her hair, shaking it out.

"Yes, very nice," Kaylee spoke immediately, peeking between her fingers for all of a second. Just long enough to see a glint of something shiny in his hand. "Ain't nothin' wrong with it," the mechanic answered first. "Jus', can you put some clothes on if'n it's not a private moment? There are Special Hell considerations ta worry about."

She had stopped covering her eyes, so much as was holding one hand up to shield the image of naked Tink (although Kaylee did not know her name yet) from view. At least from the shoulders downward. Nudity, that the young brunette had absolutely no problem with. Thought it was silly to be worried about nakedness when everybody was.

Naked winged girl was just a little too much, even for Kaylee's open mind.

"You've seen her?" Really, Kaylee tried to tamp down the tiny spark of hurt over the fact that the girl who was supposed to be her best friend was not missing after all, only not answering her messages or looking for her back. "I'm Kaylee, River's friend." The brunette's eyes went back to the man, who still had her back to her, holding that glittery belt up almost protectively. For a second her gaze dipped to his rear, and the mechanic tilted her head as she looked back up at his face.

"You wouldn't happen to be Dean, would ya?"

"Has anybody else asked the question as to why this place is filled with cute and naked women? Really, is there a reason?" he blurted the question abruptly, looking from Tink to Luna in turn. It was kind of weird. They were all cute, and occaisionally naked women. Well, Tink seemed more like a girl; but even leaving her out...

Looking back at Kaylee, suddenly wanting to let Tink have her own private Naked Time, Dean collected his items and shuffled over to the next shelf, though, there didn't seem to be too much in the way of shiny things there, unfortunately.

Flashing a bright grin at the appropriately placed identity, Dean 2.0 neglected the rack and placed his attention quite appropriately on Kaylee.

"That's right, I'm Dean."

"Aw, Dean, you're the best for saying such nice, sweet things about me!" She giggled loudly, hugging him tightly. He was one of the best people that she knew. It always seemed that he was able to cheer her up, make her smile, and make things less boring. Seeing him first thing in the morning was wonderful, and she was glad that he'd decided to come all this way even though he was supposed to be way off in the middle of nowhere.

Looking to Kaylee, Tink smiled. This did not seem to be one of those evil, wicked, antagonistic girls. She was polite enough. Her accent was a little strange, though. She'd have to ask somebody, later and more politely, why anybody would talk like that. "Sure, I can put clothes on. That's not a problem." She ducked behind one of the clothing racks near her sleeping place and hummed, softly, as she slipped on the ugly white dress that she'd ripped into something a bit more acceptable. Popping out fully dressed, which was still rather short, though it definitely covered all that it needed to, she giggled. "Remember this, Dean? I wore it when we met for the first time. That was great fun."

"What's a Special Hell?" she asked, yawning and stretching. She slid her fingers through her hair. She'd never even heard of regular hell, so a special one was doubly puzzling.

"It's nice to meet you, Kaylee. River was nice to me, so you must be a nice person as well. Any friend of a friend tends to be my friend, unless they're that nasty Wendy. She's just irritating and unnecessary." Nodding, she smiled. A good day all around. "My name is Tinker Bell, but you can..."

Her voice trailed off when she noticed that Dean was no longer paying attention to her. She frowned, arms crossing over her chest. It usually wasn't good when Tink was able to make herself completely silent. Huffing slightly, she turned, moving to arrange things. The Watanuki wouldn't like everything all mussed up.
