When: Day 7, morning
Where: The Church
Rating: TBA

Tonks had, the day before, made sure that Edward would be okay. He was a really nice bloke, and an innocent to boot. So the twenty-three year old took on a little bit of a protective streak for him. And she wanted to help, hence wriggling about in tunnels with Logan. Today was the same, at least mama-henning wise. After making sure that things were okay, she was off to explore again.

It looked like it would snow more as the hours went on. But pink hair wasn't terribly difficult to see in the white. It was like a beacon, she figured. Hands deep within her pockets, the witch was hoping to find the thrift store for a pair of gloves. But what she ended up getting ready to pass looked like..a church? Well, that was interesting. Turning that way, she ducked her head against a gust of wind, and trekked along a path. "Olly, olly, oxen free?" Called out, though Tonks felt a little silly.

Was there even going to be anyone around? Likely not. Right? Hand wriggled out of her pocket, ruffling through her hair, before being shoved back in again. "Cripes. Why did I get pulled in the middle of winter?"

When Tonks said she understood, Andy gave her a nod and grateful smile. He appreciated that she wasn't going to prod any further, because he wasn't terribly keen on sharing with her. Mostly because of the way Luna had initially reacted. He purposefully ignored what she'd said about the mind thing not being lame but rather different, because he didn't want to talk about it anymore, and instead latched onto the latter part. "Yeah, you're tellin' me," he replied, raising his eyebrows and giving a facial shrug. "Doesn't really hurt like it did before, though. Considering the leg, I hardly notice the ear anymore," he replied when she'd let out an exclamation at having seen the damage done. "I'll live." That was starting to become his fucking motto, lately...

Laughing, Andy nodded. "Fuck yeah, they do," he replied, a smirk tugging at his lips. "I think they oughta bench me for the rest of the season, actually; I sure as shit wouldn't mind," he joked. For a second, he was confused about the thing she said about string, but then it dawned on him. "Yeah that'd be good, but I know when I was trying to get out of there, I was in a damn hurry..." he pointed out. He didn't like to shoot down her idea entirely, though, because it was a good one. "Maybe when it's not so shitty out, we should go out there and do it before someone gets ganked and dropped off out there, ya know?"

"Whoa, whoa!" he exclaimed and moved to catch her, only managing to slip on the ice himself in the process, grabbing onto the same rail she'd used to catch herself, the crutches dropping with a soft sound into the snow. "Ah son of a bitch..." he muttered, shaking his head and trying not to laugh. "Maybe we should share," he joked as he got to his feet again and leaned forward to retrieve them. The one hadn't sunken into the snow quite as much so that was easy enough, but the other was just out of his grasp and he wasn't entirely sure he should try to lean that far forward to get it. So he moved the usable crutch under his other arm and leaned his weight heavily onto it so that he could use his good leg to try and hook a foot into the other crutch to lift it out of the snowdrift.

With a distracted grin as he worked to pull the crutch back up for himself, finally able to get it up enough to lean forward and pick it up with his hands, Andy nodded. "Me too, dude, those things are bad ass. And riding mowers, too, for that matter," he agreed with a laugh. Finally straightening himself up, he looked back at her, having just missed the sideglance and he gave her an impish grin. "Man we're a fuckin' pair, right?" he teased.

"I thought the sayin' was cutting off your nose t'spite your face, not get your leg mauled to spite your ripped up ear?" Teased slightly, a cheerful..if wry humoured..smile appearing on her features. Then he laughed and demanded the rest of the season off. Laughter was contagious, and Tonks found that she was infected! "But then you'd get bored, and start complaining about all the fun the rest of us lot are having, and then where would you be?"

Laughter dying down, she nodded thoughtfully and smiled again. "I'm not sayin' right now or while running round out there you git!" Said with a laugh, "But like something brightly coloured? Caution orange, lava red, so on? Each colour representing a different zone of the little city we've got here. Where the closest safe houses are, as it were." When Andy suggested that they do it later, she nodded cheerfully. That was when she was flailing about.

The fact that they were now both flailing about was hilarious, and she was giggling about it. "Are you alright, then? I'm sorry!" She tried to help him, then moved to get the crutch. "You're handy with those buggers." Very deft! "With my dropping skills and your picking up skills, we'd make a fantastic pair." Tonks paused then, chuckling. "So long as nobody gets in our way!"
