Day 6: Afternoon
Who: Kaylee, Shannon, & Wolverine
What: Meet and greet
When: Afternoon
Where: Theater
Rating: TBA
Status: Active

After a very pleasant morning spent in Kaylee's company, and a quick break to actually bother finding clothes, getting themselves ready for the day (albeit a few hours late), and a few quick entries in his journal (had to give Rorschach hell, after all), Logan somewhat reluctantly got ready to leave.

"I'm heading over to the theater, Kaylee. Told Shannon I'd meet her over there to chat in person."

"You are such a smart ass," Shannon replied, smirking at Kaylee. She grinned in response to Logan's retort about Kaylee keeping her mind out of the gutter and put her hands down on the stage behind herself, leaning her weight back on them.

When Logan told them to grab some chairs, Shannon looked back at him dubiously, raising her eyebrows. "Uh, I don't know about her, Superman, but I can't lift a metal chair bolted to the floor and not to point out the flaw in your plan, but the chairs we could lift...are probably flammable as well..." she said even as Kaylee jumped down to do just that. For someone as strong-willed as Kaylee had seemed on the journals, she certainly had no problem being bossed around by some guy... Shannon wasn't that easy. She just stared back at Logan with her eyebrows raised as if to challenge him to give her a better reason to follow directions when she'd found fault in his plan.

Logan blinked at Shannon. "Not those chairs." He said, pointing to the theater seats. "Those." He pointed to the metal folding chairs, which were definitely not bolted down.

He headed into the 'back' area real quick to find some stuff to burn and came back with a big armload, putting it down on the edge of the stage.

"And you're all purity of thought, huh?" Kaylee teased immediately back, another wordless amount of conversation was passed. A glance, a grin and a raise of her eyebrows to remind the blonde of their conversations centering around sharing the shiny boys, men who did not care enough to get a girl off, and Operation Batteries.

The mechanic could be strong-willed, could stand up to Alliance Feds when they insulted her ship, send dagger-glares at a mercenary for insulting someone besides her, but she had learned on Serenity that being able to take orders for the common good was not something to forget either. Not followed blindly, but when it came down to it, if it made sense, she would at least see if it worked. She had heard of far worse plans than making a fire when they were all cold.
