After a very pleasant morning spent in Kaylee's company, and a quick break to actually bother finding clothes, getting themselves ready for the day (albeit a few hours late), and a few quick entries in his journal (had to give Rorschach hell, after all), Logan somewhat reluctantly got ready to leave.

"I'm heading over to the theater, Kaylee. Told Shannon I'd meet her over there to chat in person."

"Yeah, seriously that deep." Logan said. "Canada doesn't fuck around when it comes to winter."

Anything else he might've said got silenced by snowball. Not that it hit him in the face ... it impacted on his chest ... but he was diverted. He ended up laughing. "Y'ain't been trying hard enough, doll. Not like there aren't guys enough around here!" And then he swept up a handful of snow and packed it up.

His own ball was nearly as badly packed as Shannon's. He may have lived in snowy Canada for ten years (that he remembered) but it's not like he got to /play/ in the snow much. He lobbed it at her, aiming well south of her face and hoping she didn't duck down for more snow at the wrong moment.

Oh no she did not! Eyes wide, Kaylee practically squealed as the cold snow hit her, flannel addition or not. Immediately she bent and packed her own perfect little snow ball (Wash had taught her to make the best projectiles when he had been on her team, before getting a handful of snow down his pants thanks to his wife), throwing it right at the blonde.

"See if I help you with Operation B!" the brunette laughed, completely joking. No way was she leaving the other girl (let along herself) without some fun in the future. They were in a crazy place, but no matter how bad things got, you had to have your fun. Only when every system on the ship shutdown could you give up. And not even then.
