With a small smile, admittedly one that illustrated that she was actually proud of herself, Shannon nodded. "That I did. That's another lesson learned from the Island. Gotta stake your claim early if you want the good spot," she said with a wink. He was not wrong about things seeming easier when one wasn't constantly alone. Shannon sort of figured he knew he was right, though, so she simply nodded again and said nothing in reply to that.
Shannon laughed a little and nodded. "I don't mind," she said with a smirk. "I'll keep it in mind, too." Her smirk broadened into a grin with his next statement. "Thank you, I appreciate it," she said with mock seriousness. When he waved, she returned it with a light one of her own. "Exactly," she agreed. "Have a nice shower," she said, "or try, like I said," she repeated with a wink. "I'll see you again soon," she added confidently before giving one last wave and heading inside to seek warmth in her shelter.
