Who: Phoebe Halliwell and the Ninth Doctor
What: GOOD MORNING!
When Day 1 (.5)
Where: Mickey's Diner
Rating: PG...ish?
Status: Incomplete

A long day? To say the least. One didn't get their heads chopped off everyday. One also didn't get sent on a long and winding spirit quest by a teenaged shaman everyday, either. And one didn't realize that their whitelighter, who'd been a pain in the butt at times but had turned out to be pretty okay, was very likely their sister's son.

Phoebe had every intention of asking him. Just as soon as he got to P3 that night. She'd dressed, she'd 'gotten cute', as Piper would say, and she'd been mostly ready to head out the door. All she needed was some makeup and it'd be perfect. But she sat on the bed and didn't get back up out of it.

Instead, she was propped up in a booth. And not one at the club. When she opened her eyes, it looked more like an abandoned Denny's or Awful House then a happening night club. Phoebe closed her eyes and leaned back against the booth again, fully intending to wake up from the dream she was having. But then her eyes flew open. She wasn't alone. She could feel emotions near her. Negative ones. Demonic or human, that was the question. Was she about to die? Had she been drugged and dragged there to torture and kill? And who was doing it? "You may as well show yourself," she called, trying to sound brave as she pulled herself into a sitting position. "I... I know karate!"

"TARDIS. T-A-R-D-I-S. Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It's a Time Machine-- well, a Time and Space Machine. It's how I get around. It's my home." He lifted his eyebrows at her as he said that last part. "We're not on Earth." He agreed. "We're trapped." Also agreed. "And how do I know that?" He opened his arms and spun around slowly, obviously indicating that there was something lacking.

"Because my TARDIS isn't here. Because I'm not where I was. Because I was just in the middle of a war and all the sudden I'm in--" He turned to look at the name emblazoned across the sign hanging over the register. "Mickey's Diner." Blue eyes came back to her. "Because I'm not where I was just a moment ago and because all of my things have been taken." He patted down over his pockets in a dramatic fashion before dropping his arms at his sides. "That's how I know I'm trapped. I've been kidnapped and robbed."

That's it, Doctor, make it sound so much worse than it really was. He was very good at that. Of course, he was also very good at making it sound a lot better than it really was. Just two of his many talents. With hands lifting and shoving that swinging door with the small glass porthole in it, the short-haired man was disappearing into the kitchen of the diner. There had to be something he could use in this place.. he had to get back.
