Where: Starting at the Clock Tower and continuing onward
When: Day 25, 930-ish am
Status/Rating: Active/Low PG

It had been an interesting sort of morning already. And, coming from a resident of Sunnydale, that was saying something. That was a strange sort of statement, Oz thought, considering that no one really knew what that something was that it was talking about. And it wasn't really saying anything; it was the person who said 'That was saying something' who said something. And what if the person wasn't terribly talkative? Then they weren't saying anything, in spite of the fact that events were still making the comparisons. Huh. Strange.

It was with these thoughts that the unfettered Oz was roaming the area. He liked to get to know where he'd be hanging out, after all. And was going to keep an eye out for any secluded sort of places that he could put up the sign for. Furry Club, Population Oz. He had thought about hanging out with English and Reid (safety in numbers) but decided that it was probably a good time to do his exploring before whoever ran this hootenanny decided they wanted to throw Oz fully into the party.

While walking, the redhead got to thinking about different things. Like the scents around the area, and Willow, and Sunnydale. And Willow. He hoped that she was alright. And that she wouldn't ever show up here. He was also wondering about this little place, rundown and ramshackle. But the lights were new. Odd. He stopped then, head cocking to one side just slightly. One arm crossed over his chest loosely, the other's elbow resting in cupped palm while he stroked a non-existant beard. Oz was regarding one of the buildings, contemplating the architecture.

Shannon wasn't sure why, but something was making her feel the need to pay Dean a visit. It was a little morbid, she thought, considering he was buried elsewhere, but she knew how much his car had meant to him and last she'd known, it was down by the barn. No one was around and she had little else to do; Shannon hadn't gotten out in a while and now that there seemed to be sunlight again and it wasn't deathly cold out, she didn't bother grabbing a hoodie or a blanket on the way out. Tucking her journal into the back of her skirt, Shannon wrapped her arms around herself, if only because in light of the fact that it was nice out, she was still wearing a tank top and still trying to grow accustomed to weather that wasn't as hot as Craphole Island or Los Angeles and was, therefore, still a little chilled.

There were a lot of things on Shannon's mind as she walked. It had been a long time since she'd seen Dean last - alive - and she wondered if her presence would even be welcome. They hadn't exactly parted on great terms, after all. It was awkward knowing what she knew about one of their first few interactions, given the fact that since, she'd fallen in love with Dean's younger brother and admitted it out loud to him. There was, also, the added discomfort of knowing that Dean was sort of a Boone stand-in at this point. She didn't love either of them, she'd fucked both of them, and both of them had been, in some way, her protector - mainly, she thought, because they wanted to repeat the sex bit.

So, needless to say, it was easy enough for Shannon to lose herself in her thoughts and found that she was nearing the clock tower, which meant she'd inadvertantly taken the long way around and lost her bearings. "Shit," she muttered, pulling her journal out from the waistband of her skirt and flipping it open from the beginning, looking for Cheryl's map. It had been ages since she'd been out this far away from the museum. Nose buried in the book, Shannon kept walking; it wasn't like there was anyone out this far half the time anyway, with of course the exception of Remy, but she didn't think he'd bother her much. He never did and even when he did approach, it wasn't ever entirely unpleasant. If she'd thought about it for half a second, she'd have kept her eyes on the newly paved road in any case, because if she had, she wouldn't have brushed so roughly against another person as she went by, nearly walking right into him.

Spinning around to face him, eyes wide and cheeks red with embarrassment, Shannon dropped the journal and then, bending to pick it up, looked up at the unfamiliar face. "I am so sorry!" she squeaked. "God...no one's ever down here, I didn't even bother watching where I was going. I really am sorry," she insisted as she stood again, tucking the journal back into her waistband. Shit, she hadn't apologized to anyone that sincerely before coming to this place in...more years than she could count. So, either this place was making her soft, or she actually had a heart after all and it just took losing her brother - twice - to notice and act like it.
