Who: The Doctors (Nine and Ten), Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones, Selene, Rose Tyler, and Sarah Jane.
What: The meeting at noon, they're ready to make an escape.
Where: The Library.
When: Day 26, 12:00PM.
Rating: PG-13
Status: Active [No Posting Order]

It was noon.  The Doctor was already waiting on the steps of the library. He couldn't have told anyone over the journals what this little meeting was to entail, but they'd surely be excited when they found out. They were getting out of here. Today. They couldn't lose. With those two brilliant minds, and three brilliant pieces of equipment? They'd be out of here in short work.

So he hoped.

Seven people-- he was waiting for six more, and looking up towards the sky, hoping that the management wouldn't notice the influx of people going to the library. What was he thinking? Of course they'd notice.. unless they'd had some sort of big distraction. Why hadn't he thought of that? And just as he was thinking it, there was a loud explosion from the NorthEast of them. His head turned that way, but it was impossible to see anything. It sounded like it might have been coming from the church of thereabouts.. but when no one came screaming down the lane leading away from the church, the Doctor went back to looking around. Another explosion followed shortly after. No screaming. Someone was having a little too much fun over there, and Nine was slowly standing up, curiosity touching his face. Where had someone managed to get their hands on gunpowder, and why wasn't it being used on the glass wall?

Sarah Jane hurried up to the library. She was pleased to see Jack and Ianto just arriving as well. It meant she wasn't late. No sign of Rose, though. Despite the situation, she still felt pleased to see all of her friends. When they all made it back home, she'd make it a point to work with them all more frequently.

"Tea party?" she said, stopping next to Ianto, nearer the Doctor. She grinned at them all; she couldn't help it. "And here I thought this was going to be some sort of serious conversation." She looked over to the other woman. She hadn't met her before, but Sarah thought she'd seen her around the town. She nodded and smiled at the woman. Whoever she was, if she'd been invited, she could be trusted. "Hello, there," she said, extending her hand. "I don't believe we've met properly."

As others began to show the vampire did her best not to appear as suspicious as she naturally was. She was naturally weary, and this place didn't help. Nor did the feel of the sun overhead. Selene was slowly getting used to it, that sunlight could no longer hurt her and the feel of such warmth was not a sign of impending danger, but centuries of habit took awhile to break.

Her focus for the moment went to the woman when she addressed her, and Selene gave a polite nod in return. She knew how to be civil. It was acting that way around humans that was the difficult part. "I don't believe we have, no. I'm Selene." Against her better judgment she accepted the hand and shook, knowing her skin would likely feel cooler to the touch than what would be considered normal for a human, particularly since it was around a week since she'd fed.
