A slowly closing door down the hallway of in the direction of the locker room and gym's offices didn't make a heck of a lot of noise. In fact, it was entirely possible that the boys sitting out in the main area didn't even know she'd been back there. She'd been hiding there for days. She'd been avoiding the world - because deep, deep down she knew one of those animated corpses would be Deans. She didn't know for sure, of course that he was out there now; but, she just feared the worst, and that kept her in that little, dark room with her maglite and a few snacks.

Two days of that and she eventually had to emerge. She had to step out into the main room and see that there weren't any patients there. Looking around with squinted eyes, the heavy metal flashlight pointed to the floor she followed the sound of talking until she found the two young men talking.

"You both alright?" She asked quietly, coughing a little to clear her throat. Surely they'd seen her coming, it was impossible to miss that bright beam of light.
