She couldn't help but smile as he gave his assessment of these people he knew. At least he seemed to consider her words, which was more than some would do when they were convinced of something. Granted, her fangs were retracted, but they never dulled to take on the appearance of normal teeth. Absently, Selene realized he might have noticed the empty holsters on her hips, but her trenchcoat usually did a pretty good job of hiding those from view.
