The Zombie Invasion Begins
Who: Captain Jack Sparrow and OTA
What: Seeking brains
Where: Near the Museum
When: 9:00AM
Rating: PG to start

Please meet our dearly departed Captain Jack Sparrow. In life he walked sort of on the wobbily side of things; in death he was no different. Uneven, almost uncertain steps carried the rotting corpse of a man from his resting place out into town. For those that had met him, from behind he'd be nearly the same as before; hat perched upon his head, boots upon his feet. So, he was a little dirty, what else was new? From the front however, the swaying mass of a man was clearly dead. His skin had turned waxy and his eyes gone pale. A nasty chunk of flesh was removed from his throat, and while it didn't bleed any longer, there was a very nice splash down the front of him.

Standing there, swaying in the darkness and flickering streetlamps, the Zombie waited for something to move.

Remy LeBeau was not pleased. Remy LeBeau was sick and lightheaded and coughing up some very interesting bits of mucus, and was not happy. They'd taken his Doctor, as they had promised that they'd do, and the Cajun was angry. But zombies? Really? He'd read zombie comics before and while they were very entertaining, zombies were not very scary. They couldn't, after all, run.. and really, a well-placed bullet to the head had them dead instantly.

He sort of wished that he had a gun. The sickly young man had ventured out of the room he and the Doctor had shared last night, since no one was there to stop him, and he was moving for the front of the museum. No birds.. but.. no sun either. He took a glance down at his watch and his eyebrows went up. It was nine in the morning, how did-- his thought process was interrupted by coughing-- that work? Was it overcast? He was shuffling forward, wrapped in the Doctor's coat (his real coat, not that duplicate) and was moving for the glass double doors, in his tattered, torn clothes. Who was standing outside, just down in the street, beyond the steps leading up into the museum?

He looked sort of familiar. And if there were zombies around (that was laughable) he'd need to get inside, and quick. So Remy was pushing open the door and sticking his head out, coughing a few times (hand over his mouth) before he breathed in deep and focused tired, red eyes onto the man. "C'mon insi'e! Ain' gonna be safe ou'si'e t'day, homme!" ..Wait.. He looked familiar. Those oddly colored eyes narrowed down some to inspect and.. was that blood. Oh, God. This time, his eyes were widening. It was blood.. and his throat was cut open and he was waxy and his eyes were glassy and he was Jack Sparrow and Jack Sparrow was DEAD.

"Mon Dieu."

The sound of coughing sounded distant to the zombie's ears. What wasn't so far away, what made the swaying form react were the sounds of a voice with words he could not understand. Slowly he turned, knee buckling a little, head lolling to the side as he caught sight of what was obviously a very alive figure. A figure which he so desperately wanted to consume.

Slowly those steps started moving, arms instinctively coming out to clutch and grab at air. He saw you with those pale eyes, Gambit. He saw you and he'd follow you until he couldn't do so any longer.

He was going to eat you. Whole.

Oh Hell no he wasn't! The Cajun was quickly backing up into the museum again and pulling that glass door closed quickly to avoid letting the creature get at him. And once it was close enough, he was backing away a few quick steps.

And yelling.

"HEY!" He shouted out suddenly, backing up further into the museum. He was going to put something in front of the doors to keep the thing out... but the doors opened out, and the zombie would just have to.. you know.. pull the door open. "JACK!" He shouted out. "Yanno!" His Doctor was gone, there was no use yelling for him.

They were all going to be turned into zombies, he'd seen this movie!

He was moving in shakey steps toward the path the man had moved in. There was an itch in that long dead brain, and itch that could only be resolved by disemboweling that man and consuming his vital organs. That sounded tasty.

Navigating those stairs was tricky, but eventually, he made it up to the door. He stood there a moment, pressed against it, feeling the cool wood against waxy skin. Then he started to really push. Hands started to bang. The door was moving with groans and bangs. He may not be able to comprehend a door knob, but he understood that if he kept pushing, sooner or later the door would get out of his way and he'd get to have a snack. A tasty snack.

A tasty snack Remy's ass! He was stumbling back a few frantic steps to get away from the zombie banging at the door, before he ran into the front information desk, and nearly knocked the shot gun off of the counter and onto the ground. It didn't take him long to realize what it was and why it was there, so he was quickly snatching it up, grabbing the box of bullets and dumping them into an impossibly deep pocket, and loading one up as quickly as he could. Then he promptly turned it onto the door and began backing away, to get as far away from those doors as possible. He needed to find a back exit and get the fuck out of that museum before the zombie got in.
