Rose wasn't used to being fascinating anymore. Not when one traveled with one of the most fascinating people, um, ever. But it was attention from a cute boy just the same, and that she ate up. Perhaps she was laying it on a bit thick, but he had experience with magic, for Heaven's sake. (He had experience with that, too, Rose, you just didn't know it yet!) Surely nothing about her travels would be too out of line for him. Or. Well. Most things about them, at least.

So she leaned in, touching his arm lightly, as if she had a secret to share. Which she sort of did, really. She probably wouldn't go around telling this to just anyone, after all. "Okay, first of all? Hollyoaks is cheesy soap goodness, don't watch it. Seriously. You'll get hooked in a week. But secondly?" How to describe Jamie to someone with no experience with other worlds? "Jamie was...special. He didn't die, actually. For once, everyone lived." She smiled almost as wide as the Doctor had when he'd declared the same thing. "He got his soul back. From his mother, of all things." It had been one of the most beautiful moments she'd ever witnessed and her eyes teared up just a bit. Rose herself wanted to feel that way someday.
