It wasn't hard for him to notice her, since he mostly remembered what she looked like from the day before, even if he had been a good deal shorter then. The grin was instant when he heard her words and tone. "I try not to lie, especially to someone who's been so kind to me." Her reaction was, well. Priceless. Perhaps a little more so than Connor's had been, given Rose was a beautiful girl. And blonde. He did kind of have a thing for blondes, if only because they didn't remind him of his fiance. Well, former fiance... if he had changed the future, would he even meet Bianca again?
Those so weren't thoughts to be having now and Chris shook himself, brushing them off, and focused his attention on Rose. "That would be me." he replied, smiling as he walked over. "I'm glad to see you're alright." He hadn't been entirely sure what he would find, since she had sounded a bit unsure herself about the state of the building. Chris didn't care for the condition of the gym either, but it had held up under the onslaught of kids the day before, so he figured it was probably a little more sturdy than he and Connor had wanted to give it credit for.
