Good luck to the first person to step into the gym, especially if they had a child with them.

The gym currently consists of a half finished Pyramid Court on one side, a myriad of cots in the middle, and Lexie's clinic on the far end. It would be advised that someone move all the medical stuff out of the eye level of any children, we wouldn't want any accidents now would we?

So, enjoy the quiet while you can, friend. Apparently, there's a whole herd of children on their way here with a bunch of people who clearly aren't too experienced in handling them.

Mind you language, folks.

Why Ianto decided to rise up to the challenge of caring for kids, he didn't know. But for some reason, he did, turning up with juice boxes and various snacks (probably too sugary for everyone, but there was the resulting sugar crash to look forward to, he reasoned). If this worked, he thought, he'd try to be a better uncle when he got home.

It was sort of amazing that in spite of all the horror here, good was coming about in his life. His relationship certainly was growing in positive ways. And he adored the people he met here. Mostly.

In any case, Ianto, blinking a bit like he'd been smacked and trying not to reach for a wallet that wasn't there (what would they do with money anyway, Jones? he asked himself,) Ianto stepped in. "Ah, snack time?" he called, uncertainly.

That yelling man? Well, he'd startled the Time Lord who'd hopped up and ran smack dab into the suit-clad man who'd just stepped in through those double doors. It had been like the universe was conspiring to keep him in here! C'mon, Remy's out there and he's fun and not yelling.

Less then carefully the Time Lord slid behind Ianto, holding on to the back of his shirt. "I'm just going to hide here a minute." No, he wasn't scared or anything, just hiding. People hid when they were perfectly fine, yes?

	Well, now there was a little ... oh my God, that was a tiny Doctor hiding behind his legs. Ianto nearly dropped his armload of drinks and snacks in shock. "Er, alright. You .. well. "Yes." He said simply, peeking out from behind a suit-clad leg. They were loud. Loud and scary. How was he supposed to read everything in that journal with people yelling?

Reaching up he took the juice box but made no motion to open it.

"I'm fine," he replied quietly. "They're not chasing me." He looked to the doors behind them. He could totally sneak out and there'd be nobody to stop him, either.

	"Oh, well. Why are you hiding, then?" Ianto peered down at the little figure, twisting a bit to get a good view. Kids. Right. "Want me to open that for you? S'got juice inside. Um. 	He couldn't blame the kid. The juice sounded awful. Personally, Ianto didn't want to drink it. "Ah, where are you escaping to?" he asked and tried to steer the kid Doctor back into the gym at large. "It'd probably be best to wait to escape in the morning. That way you'll have the most light available to you and I can take the time to provision you." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

This Time Lord to be would not be herded. Nope. As the must taller man tried to come around and steer him out into the community at large, he deftly stepped backward, pressing himself against the double doors.

"No, I've got to find the TARDIS. I need to get back home." The little Doctor was giving you a rather speculative look, Ianto Jones, wondering why you'd try and keep him here. Hands went into his pockets and came up empty. Drat.

Oh, well. That was sort of sobering, wasn't it. Ianto wasn't certain he could tell a tiny Doctor that he was stuck here. It was hard enough telling adults this fact, let alone kids. "Oh, don't worry," he lied blithely. "The TARDIS is fine. It's just got a misfiring .. cylinder. On the time platform. It's being fixed before being returned to you."

Oh god. That wasn't going to work, was it.
