Day 19: 11:04 AM
Who: OTA
What: The kids all herded into the gym
When: After 11:00AM
Where: The gym
Rating: PG

Good luck to the first person to step into the gym, especially if they had a child with them.

The gym currently consists of a half finished Pyramid Court on one side, a myriad of cots in the middle, and Lexie's clinic on the far end. It would be advised that someone move all the medical stuff out of the eye level of any children, we wouldn't want any accidents now would we?

So, enjoy the quiet while you can, friend. Apparently, there's a whole herd of children on their way here with a bunch of people who clearly aren't too experienced in handling them.

Mind you language, folks.

Oh for the love of christ.

He, apparently, didn't move fast enough to get away from the gym. Now, it seemed, he had the children in his not-so capable hands and where the hell were the rest of the adults? House glanced around, hoping to god that Lexie was nearby. She could do that... woman's work of taking care of children, leaving him to go curl up with a bottle of something.

Scotch or vicodin. Right now, he wasn't going to be picky.

"Indoor voice!" He shouted at whatever kid had decided that screeching was a good idea. Using his cane to point, he waved the kids over to the other side of the gym. "You kids stay over there. Big important stuff behind me that will break if you touch it. So go run and scrape your knees over there and I don't want to hear any crying or bellyaching."

Chris cringed at the shrieking, turning around to look behind him at the other kids who had seemingly appeared after him. The one boy looked about as happy to be here -- wherever here was -- as Chris was, and the other just actually seemed happy. While he was plenty capable of being nice to other kids his age, he wanted to get home and he couldn't go play and do normal kid stuff when he knew that this place wasn't home, that something was off about it.

He looked back at the adult when he started yelling at them, well not him clearly, he wasn't doing anything, and Chris crinkled his nose. The man sounded like a grouch. Well, he could be a grouch, that wasn't going to stop Chris from seeing what was over there. Though he didn't want to risk getting smacked by that cane, which seemed a very real possibility if he tried to investigate over there the normal way. Chris focused his gaze and attention on an open spot behind the table, squinting his eyes up as he did so, and after a few moments of concentration the place where he was currently standing seemed to shimmer with little white lights. He disappeared only to reappear at the spot he'd been focused on barely a second later with the same show of little white lights. If only his mom and dad were there, then they'd see that his older brother wasn't the only one who could do magic as a kid.

The grin on his face was a mile wide and he quickly climbed up on a chair so he could see what all was on the table. He didn't know exactly what all his mom and aunts used in their potions but maybe he would see something familiar.
