Sarah Jane looked closely at the boy. Something about his face was very familiar. It set the hairs on the back of her neck rising, but she kept her expression friendly, not wanting to frighten him. "You're the only one I've seen this morning," she said, keeping her tone light. "Would you like me to help you find him?"
She kept her kindest smile on her face, even though her mind was racing to try and figure out why there would be children here. "My name is Sarah Jane," she said. She held out her hand, careful not to move too quickly. The little boy seemed very nervous, and she couldn't blame him. "What's yours?"
