Who: Sam Winchester and Andy Gallagher
What: Sam tells Andy what really happened at Cold Oak
Where: The Church
When: Day 18, mid-afternoon
Rating: TBA
Status: Complete

The meeting with the management had not gone well. Sam had no more answers than he had upon waking up that morning. He still hadn't heard from Shannon or heard from anyone who had seen her since the return of the others and he was beginning to worry. He thought he knew her well enough to know that she would've at least dropped him a line to tell him she was alright, even if she didn't necessarily want to come back to the museum. She knew he worried and if she'd had access to her journal at all, she would've known that they'd though she was dead. Her not speaking up said something that Sam didn't really want to think about just yet.

He tried to push those thoughts back as he approached the church and the familiar blue van parked beside it. Even though the majority of those who had been believed to have died were back he had not changed his new attitude towards the "management" as they'd taken to calling themselves. He was going to stop lying and making promises he couldn't keep and he was finding a way out for all of them. There was no question about that. Andy needed to know the truth about what had happened in Cold Oak. He needed to know that he would have to protect himself against Ava in case actually breaking the glass wall or finding a way out of it resulted in each of them going back to their own times.

It was a conversation that he wasn't looking forward to, one that he'd very carefully managed to side step until now, but he felt like it was the right thing to do. He stopped a few feet away from the van and took a deep breath before reaching out and knocking on the back door.

Andy said nothing when Sam went on to reiterate that Dean and Bobby - whoever he was - found a way in. Obviously there was a goddamn way in; they'd gotten there somehow, hadn't they? Finding a way out was a whole other deal. Sam made it out, yeah, but then again...Sam was Sam. Andy was a short, goofy looking stoner. He didn't have a chance in hell, no matter what Sam said, he was sure.

Sam replied shortly that it must be nice to get lost in getting stoned and banging Elliot. Yeah, it was, but obviously Sam wasn't doing the same with Shannon or he'd have been less of a dick about his response to it. Andy set his jaw and forced himself to say nothing that would only further exacerbate the tension already thick in the air.

"Fine," Andy replied quietly and equally as shortly when Sam said he'd leave Andy to it. Clearly, inviting Sam to share was going to be a waste of time, so he didn't bother. He didn't look over at Sam when he heard the door open, nor when he heard Sam slide out. In fact, he didn't even look over at Sam right away when the other man sighed. It was only when Andy was directly addressed that he turned his head to regard his friend. ...or was he his friend? Andy wasn't sure anymore. "It's whatever man," he sighed back. Shrugging, he shook his head. "No hard feelings." That wasn't entirely true, but if he gave it a little time, then maybe it would be. He returned Sam's tight-lipped frown and watched as Sam walked away, pausing for a moment. Then, he let out another sigh and went back to his bong. He'd think about it more later.
