Weather Forecast

A pair of wolves, one lion, a flock of vultures, and a puma have been released into the forest.

All characters have a free day with the exception of those listed below.

Inventory

In addition to Day One's inventory, characters will now notice there are newly packaged non-perishable food items (canned food, included) at a count of four per item stocked as well as cigarettes, clove cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars, and mini Bic lighters in the convenience store at the gas station.

To clear up some confusion on the journals: The characters can see everyone's entries and comments so long as they aren't marked as private in some way. They don't know why the other entries or comments are showing up or how; they just are. So, feel free to communicate with other characters via the journals and don't feel obligated to work the characters actually using the journal into your in-game posts, however if you want, feel free. In addition, to clear up some confusion on the posting of threads later in the day when ones from earlier in the day have not been yet finished: as long as you work your earlier threads so that the continuity matches the later threads, you're more than welcome (in fact, encouraged) to have numerous posts per day, so have a blasty! This includes those who have been tapped for experiment, although you will want to give yourself ample time to complete the experiment before being another place at another time.

Please Note: There has been a slight change to the application as well as the rules which both now include the fact that none of the characters have anything on their person when they awake in Vas Captio, as there has been some confusion, I think, on the details of that. As a reminder to current players as well as new players, they will have nothing on them, save the clothes on their back and the survival kit given to them.

Also, since Day One was pretty confusing to the characters, it's all right that very few journaled, but keep in mind that from Day Two on, it is expected that your characters journal at least once each game day.

Your characters will find themselves coming back into consciousness again in the middle of the woods, each in a clearing, nowhere near the other pairs. They are sitting in the mud, tied together, back to back and arms at their sides, with thick ropes knotted at their chests and stomachs. If they manage to see through the heavy rain and fog, they'll notice there is a hunting knife stuck into a nearby tree at the specific height for the taller of the two characters to reach on tip-toe if their arms were not tied down at their sides. Remember that there are wild animals on the loose and the characters are essentially sitting ducks. The time of day is negotiable, but before sundown; morning would be the most likely and easiest, perhaps, to manage with continuity.
