Day Two
Experiment Prompt
The Management has decided that the captives are in need of some entertainment. Thus, the carnival as come to town and enlisted some of the local population to aid in the festivities.
1. Captain Jack Harkness: Freak Show. Jack will be found in the Freak Show tent. He will be shot over and over by one of the carnival lacky's. He will be unable to leave as he's chained in place. Attempts to remove the chain will be met by escalating threats by Jack's handler. Player discretion as to if one of their characters gets shot and where.
2. L. Lawliet: Fortune Teller. L Will be one of the fortune tellers along the boardwalk. He will be held captive by a chain around his ankle. There will be an attendant here as well (A Madam dressed in Gypsy style garb) who will threaten and eventually shoot anyone pushing to remove L. Player discretion applies.
3. Remy LeBeau: Ride Operator. Remy will be operating the Carnivals largest attraction, the Ferris Wheel. His hands will be gloved and he will be chained and guarded in the same way as all other participants today. Rumor has it Remy really likes it when people rock their carriages.
4. Ted Logan: Ticket Taker. Ted will be at the front gate, clad in appropriate costume, attempting to lure people into the carnival. Same rules of confinement apply.
5. Sherlock Holmes: Games of Chance. Sherlock will be operating one of the many boardwalk games of chance. He'll be in charge of the milk bottle game. Knock over all the pins and you win a prize!
All other captives are free to roam and enjoy the Carnival.
Those working the carnival do not have a journal requirement this day. They will be released from service at 10PM. Workers will be instructed that those who work the hardest will be able to leave Vas Captio and take one other Captive with them.

There are bottles of water in the grocers, pharmacy, and gas station. Remy LeBeau has stolen all cigarettes that have been allotted. There are matches remaining in the Gas Station, but no lighters. Parcels of food can be found inside each captive's Post Office box. Parcels include dried fruit, a pop-top can of Campbell's Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup, and a fun-sized bag of plain M&M's. There is a plastic spoon included. Enjoy! If there is something you would like your character to find in the stores (and it would rationally be there in 1957) please feel free. Be creative, you've got quite a playground! All characters will have a ticket to the carnival in their journals like a bookmark. |
