In fact, life in Vallo was so much better than Thedas - the world had survived Corypheus, but it was only a matter of time before something else happened and everything was plunged into peril once more. Another Blight, perhaps, with Darkspawn lurking below the surface of the ground through a network of twisted tunnels - dormant, until they made their presence known. Happened like clockwork.
It was just the way things were - not here, however. Here it was a different kind of peril, at least one she could usually handle. Sometimes it was even therapeutic, bashing things like skeletons to bits.
