For a weekend there had been respite. Bloom had taken the girls with her to her parents home, and they'd spent two days laughing, relaxing, and teasing one another- closer than they'd been all year. Then, all at once, everything seemed to go as wrong as it possibly could.
The five of them halted as the approached the school. Stella tried not to panic as she ended up on the receiving end of her mother's icy stare and...Sky's father? She'd barely had time to even register what she was looking at before it had all disappeared. In place of Alfea and the adults, Stella and Bloom now found themselves in an entirely different world. Unsure of herself, the blonde had quickly latched onto Bloom's arm. She wasn't certain she ever let go as the two girls were greeted by the DOA and a whirlwind of information about Vallo was given to them.
It wasn't until later, when the two of them were alone in their apartment at Morningside Manor that Stella even felt she was starting to process any of what just happened. She had been looking out the window and down at the city below. With a large inhale to settle her nerves, Stella turned back around to look at Bloom.
