[Mighty Nein]

I don't want to distract from.. whatever the hell is going on with people seeing flying creatures similar to what we saw on Rumblecusp, but

Did anyone else wake up today with memories of everything we saw and did on Rumblecusp? Is this my fault Like having a whole period of your life shoved into your brain all at once, like a surreal dream? Because I'd like to report it is the worst headache to wake up to.

Ah- Ja. You too?

Yeah, yeah. It's a lot. I thought time stopped for us back there. This feels like it kept going without us somehow and we're being caught up.

All of us, I wonder?

I do not like it.

Not Essek, I do not know about the others.

Not a fan either. And not great waking up to memories of being hauled around bodily in the claws of a large bird on the same day people are talking about large flying creatures.

So you remember the shark, too, then?

I believe you secretly liked it.

[...] Ja. What are you getting at?

No, no not really. It was terrifying and made me feel very small, to be honest.

Nothing, just making sure we're remembering the same things. Makes if easier to deal with.

You are still very large and manly, Fjord, do not worry.

Mmhmm, I am sure that is your reasoning.

I'm not worried. What makes you think I'm worried? I just don't want to be a meal.

I just went for an easy one. I could ask about the tent of images. Or the attempts to one-up the Traveler.

Seeing others mention gaining memories, I suppose it was only a matter of time before people under this roof had the same.

Yeah, I don't have any new Essek memories. Is that comforting?

I don't I could not say. It could mean nothing.

Everything's fine, we're all alive and safe and saved a bunch of people. That's a good thing, right?

It's very good, yes. I would expect nothing less of you all. You certainly do a lot of good, wherever you seem to go.

It's almost funny how that tends to be a side-effect of us just stumbling through things.

[info]shadowhand

It says a lot about you, I think. You may stumble and you may deviate from your initial purpose, but you do so in a way that helps others.

Or some cruel hand of fate dragging us from one shitshow to the next, just to see how we can struggle to survive each new wild fucking adventure.

Perhaps so, but I think that is just life, for some. What matters is what you make of it.

Wisdom is a stretch, but I appreciate the continued use of old man.

Unless you just copied that out of a book, it sounded like wisdom to me.

Paraphrased perhaps, but not from a book. In truth, it is a lesson I am still trying to learn.

But I would love to hear more of what you all got up to in Rumblecusp, from your perspective. Whatever you might like to share, of course, perhaps over dinner.

I could eat. But uhm, Caleb has the same memories, I think, if you just want to ask him. He'll have the small details, at least.

Yes, of course. We've discussed, I'm merely curious. And, ha. I realize that was awkward wording.

I wouldn't, and I'm sure I couldn't, try to steal you away from Caleb anyway. But sure, though I'm not sure I have much of a perspective to offer unless there's something specific you're curious about.

No, I didn't have a dream. The last time I had one though, I was confused as to if it was real or not so maybe probably not.

I've got quite a few new memories about you, too. Maybe some of those dreams were prophetic.
